About Me

My name is Sam, I am the creative designer behind La lune Alice wedding hair accessories. I started making hair accessories when I was planning my own wedding. I've always been creative and often tried my hand at making things for my home, festival gear or as presents for friends and family, so thought that being a DIY bride I would give it a bash at making my own. I have always been drawn to pretty things especially those that sparkle, and felt that making my bridal party accessories would add a personal touch that meant I could create something completely bespoke for each individual to match each of their personalities. I did a lot of research 

on different components and have arrived at a style that suits my tastes and craft level. I absolutely love working with clay polymer flowers as it adds a feminine romantic vibe to each piece; whilst pearls keeps the traditional classic feel and bicone crystals adds that princess sparkle we've all been dreaming of. So over time I decided to share this craft and make accessories of other brides. I have drawn inspiration from nature and living in Devon has enabled this further with it’s beautiful landscapes and gardens. 

Most of what is created at La Lune Alice is custom made. As a small business I keep a small selection of sample pieces that I use for wedding fairs to showcase to brides so they can visualise, hold and try on. Each piece I have made has been photographed and will be featured in my look book or those available to buy are featured in my shop.  Please message me if there is a piece you would like to purchase.

Bespoke service 

If you have any ideas of something completely bespoke then please contact me. I often ask a series of questions to help match your piece to the wedding theme, hair style and tones, along with matching the flowers and bridesmaid colours plus a piece that complements your wedding outfit. I will then ask about what components you prefer ie something more sparkly or pearl based, more leaves, less flowers, gold/silver metal etc etc and together we will create the perfect accessory for your big day. I can also design matching pieces or jewellery for other members of the party such as the mother of the bride/groom and bridesmaids. Once you have decided on all of your pieces then I will price this up individually according to materials used and time to make each piece. I will then send a quote summarising all of this for you to check over and make any changes. 
I aim to keep costs down even with bespoke items so please do not shy away from this service.
